Job DescriptionSupports senior loan syndicators in the origination and structuring of corporate syndicated loans, including commercial paper backup facilities, revolving credit facilities, term loans and acquisition financings across a wide variety of industry sectors and geographies.
Position entails the preparation of client presentations and financing proposals, peer analyses, and financial modeling. Many of these client presentations involve multiple capital markets products (e.g. debt capital markets, leveraged finance, and derivatives)
Responsibilities:- Assist LCM Syndicators in coordinating all aspects of the transaction process from the initial pitch process through transaction closing, while developing the capabilities and experience to lead the execution process.
- Prepare transaction written documents including term sheets and offering memoranda's (Executive Summaries, CIM's, etc.).
- Develop reports and charts for proposals, presentations, and bank meetings.
- Launch and manage the syndication data room.
- Connect directly with prospective lenders to help market syndicated transactions.
- Conduct preliminary review of required legal documents involved in transactions.
- Work with Capital Markets Syndicators to incorporate market intelligence/requirements into department strategies.
- Maintain comparable transaction database and lender universe analysis documents.
- Analyze/prepare financial reports and models (e.g., cash flow models and capital structure analyses).
- Execute due diligence on new client opportunities.
- Analyze market trends and identify strong investment opportunities.
- Prepare presentations and marketing pitch books.
- Develop financial terms and conditions (such as pricing) and support the execution of planned transactions.

- Create and maintain transaction documentation, as well as transaction reviews.
- Organize and oversee the transaction process (find potential investors, manage relationships with investors, organize meetings, etc...).
Qualifications- 2 years of investment banking, Commercial or Corporate Banking experience.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field, or equivalent work experience
- Prior investment banking or commercial/corporate banking training program desirable.
- Series SIE/79/63 licenses are required (not required prior to joining the firm)
- Ability to work independently and think creatively (required).

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $92,140.00 - $108,400.00
