We are looking for a highly motivated LIMS Administrator to join our IT team. The LIMS Administrator is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our LIMS applications. You will work closely with laboratory staff and quality assurance to understand their needs, implement software solutions, and ensure the smooth operation of the LIMS platform. This position reports to the IT Director.

- Develop and maintain LIMS applications, ensuring they meet user requirements and industry standards.
- Design and implement database structures to support data management and retrieval.
Partner with laboratory staff and departments to gather requirements and provide solutions
- Collaborate with laboratory personnel and quality assurance to gather and analyze requirements for system improvements and new features.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, quality assurance, and clients, to ensure seamless integration and performance of LIMS.
Provide system support and compliance to ensure compliance with system use
- Troubleshoot and resolve software issues, providing timely support to users.
- Conduct testing and validation of LIMS functionalities to ensure reliability and compliance.
- Create and maintain documentation for system processes, user guides, and training materials.
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a LIMS Developer or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of laboratory operations.
- Proficiency in programming languages including Visual Basic, C#, F#, or similar.
- Experience with database management systems (Access, Oracle, MS SQL Server) with strong SQL and T-SQL skills.
- GIT and version control using Azure Dev Ops, GitHub, Bitbucket or similar.
- Experience with Linux and Windows operating systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively with diverse teams.
Nice to have skills:- .NET experience and comfort at the ADO.NET level.
- An understanding of REST API architecture and best practices.
- PowerShell for automation of IT and Laboratory processes.
- Experience with RMM tooling (NinjaOne or similar).
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements in laboratory environments (e.g., EPA, NELAP) is desirable.
