Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Full-Time Position Available!Company: Southeast Rehabilitation & Skilled Care Center in North Easton
Shift: Full-time openings on all shifts, including an every other weekend rotation
Compensation: $38 - $43 an hour, depending on the shift. Evenings, overnights, and weekends have shift differentials. Weekly pay
As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will provide direct nursing care to residents under the supervision of the RN and supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by the nursing assistant to ensure the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct nursing care to residents under the supervision of the RN
- Supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by the nursing assistant
- Meet the nursing and rehabilitation needs of each resident
- Maintain current resident care plans
- Follow physician's orders
- Transcribe physician's orders promptly and accurately
- Review patient records daily to assure accuracy and completeness
- Document comprehensive and complete nursing notes
- Visit each resident daily to evaluate resident needs
- Maintain accurate awareness of residents on alert list
- Document and report any unusual or significant findings; contact the physician when necessary
- Perform other duties as assigned by manager
Requirements:- Must be a graduate of an approved LPN/LVN program
- Must be CPR certified
- Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as an LPN/LVN in this state, or be in the process of obtaining one
- Minimum, one (1) year experience in a hospital, long-term care facility, or other related health care facility (new graduates welcome!)
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such actions
- Ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public
