ResponsibilitiesUnder general supervision of Urgent Care Provider, perform direct patient care including, phlebotomy, EKG, IV access, IV fluid and medication administration in accordance with physicians' orders. Provides work to full scope of practice as determined by the public health department and Southcoast Health policies. Conduct patient interviews and provide clerical support including but not limited to patient quick registration, data/order entry, minor transcription of orders, coordination of medical records, transport and other clerical duties as assigned. Performs point of care lab testing in accordance with CLIA certificate.
Qualifications- Graduation from an accredited school of practical nursing or equivalent is required.
- One year of experience within. medical office, urgent care center, or skilled nursing facility, experience is preferred.
- Experience working with Electronic Health Record (EHR) is highly desirable.
- LPN License in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is required
- BLS and ACLS certification are required
- Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired
Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.Pay RangeUSD $31.98 - USD $48.31 /Hr.
Rotation Schedule RequirementEvery other weekend, every other holiday
