Your work will include assessing client needs, providing individual therapy, developing treatment plans, and following progress throughout care.
You'll support clients with a range of emotional, behavioral, and mental health concerns while maintaining clear documentation and responding appropriately when safety or crisis concerns arise.
What You'll Be Doing- Conduct individual counseling sessions through a secure telehealth platform
- Complete intake evaluations and mental health assessments
- Create and update individualized treatment plans
- Provide ongoing therapeutic support and track progress toward treatment goals
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical records
- Recognize risk factors and follow appropriate procedures during crisis situations
Requirements- Active LMHC license in Rhode Island
- Master's degree in Counseling, Mental Health Counseling, or related field
- At least 1 year of clinical counseling experience
- Strong experience with telehealth or willingness to work fully remote
- Knowledge of evidence-based therapy approaches
- Comfortable using EHR systems and virtual platforms
