- No weekends

About the Role
Aspire Neuropsychological Services is seeking a licensed psychologist to lead our assessment training program. You will supervise doctoral trainees as they progress from shadowing to independent practice across ASD, ADHD, learning disorder, and neuropsychological evaluations, while maintaining your own active evaluation caseload.
What Your Week Looks Like
- Monday and Tuesday, remote: Report writing and 2 telehealth intakes (1 hour each), scheduled on whichever of the two days works best for you
- Wednesday, on site: Neuropsychological evaluation
- Thursday, on site: 2 ASD evaluations, assessment didactics at 2:00 PM, and group supervision at 3:00 PM
- Friday, on site: 2 ASD evaluations
- Trainees contribute to report writing as part of their training, so remote days include reviewing and guiding their drafts
- Supervision of 5 doctoral practicum students in the 2026 to 2027 training year, and 2 to 3 practicum students plus 2 predoctoral interns in the following year
- Teaching trainees the full assessment process: intake, test administration, scoring, diagnostic formulation, integrated report writing, and feedback
- Supporting diagnostic decisions and maintaining high clinical standards across the team
A Role That Evolves Through the Year
Our training year follows a deliberate progression. Trainees begin by shadowing and co administering. They then lead ASD and ADHD evaluations and add achievement, learning disorder, and neuropsychological work. By early summer they are practicing at an internship level. Early in the year, more of your time goes to close supervision and teaching. As trainees become independent, your focus shifts toward conducting evaluations directly, and that evaluation caseload remains a core part of the role year round.
What You Bring
- PhD or PsyD in Clinical Psychology or a closely related field
- Active California Psychologist license, held for at least two years
- Formal training in neuropsychological assessment, such as a neuropsychology postdoctoral fellowship or equivalent
- Extensive experience evaluating ASD, ADHD, and learning disorders
- Proficiency in ADOS administration, scoring, and interpretation
- Experience supervising doctoral trainees; internship level supervision experience strongly preferred
- Strong diagnostic reasoning, report writing, teaching, and communication skills
- Comfort working efficiently in a high volume assessment setting
- Preferred but not required: Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English
