Learning andDevelopmentManager

Delivers workplace learning, service improvement programs, and initiatives to best achieve long-term business success; add value in meeting the hotel’s needs by identifying and implementing learning and performance improvement strategies that support the hotel’s strategic direction; promotes a continuous learning culture; partners with stakeholders to ensure employees are trained on the needed skills to successfully perform their jobs to attain service excellence. This role is part of the People and Culture division, reporting to the Assistant Director & Director ofPeopleand CultureDivision.Candidates must have valid authorization to work in the United States at the time of application.

What You Will Do

Lead andfacilitateonboarding and learning programs, including Embark, Service Foundations, leadership development, compliance training, and other core learning initiatives for employees and managers.

Partner with leaders across the resorttoidentifytraining needs, develop learning solutions, and support ongoing employee growth, performance improvement, and operational excellence.

Manage training, development, and compliance programs, including Designated Trainer initiatives, management development, standards training, and safety requirements to ensure a highly engaged and successful workforce.

What You Will Bring

Minimum of 3years experienceworking in a managerial capacity.

Experience in adult education or a similar environment

Experience in hotel operations, preferably luxury hospitality or other service environments.

Experiencemanaging indiverse cultures.

Excellent communication skills

Facilitation skills

Instructional design skills

Strong analytical and critical thinking skills (i.e.ability toidentifywhen training is the actual solution and provide it ifrequired)

Coaching skills Influencing skills

Needs Assessment methodologies and learning needs identification

Learning technologies, such as e-learning options and distance learning

Theories and types of evaluation for measuring programfinancial impact, such as Kirkpatricks 4 levels

Project planning tools and processes

Communication and influencing strategies

Basic budgeting,accountingandfinancial management

Current on industry trends affecting workplace learning
