Job Title: Lead Product Manager - Enterprise AI

Location: Waterloo --> Full time in-office

THE OPPORTUNITY

The OpenText AI Line of Business is looking for an experienced Product Management leader to drive the evolution of our Enterprise AI platform capabilities.

This role will work closely with Product Managers, Engineering, Architecture, Cloud Operations, and Customer Success teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing AI solutions that power our growing AI portfolio. The successful candidate will bring strong expertise in cloud-native software, enterprise AI deployments, AI Governance, scalability, performance optimization, and operational excellence, while partnering closely with Product Managers across the AI portfolio to support OpenText's broader AI strategy

What the role offers
  • Define and execute the roadmap for core Enterprise AI platform capabilities.
  • Partner with peer Product Managers to support broader AI initiatives including customer success, governance, interoperability, and differentiated AI experiences.
  • Drive investments in scalability, performance, reliability, observability, and cloud efficiency.
  • Work closely with Engineering and Architecture teams on AI platform evolution, cloud-native services, and deployment automation.
  • Define requirements for enterprise AI deployments, including large-scale RAG, agentic AI, model orchestration, and retrieval services.
  • Collaborate with CloudOps and Security teams to improve operational excellence, release quality, and deployment velocity.
  • Support strategic customer engagements by translating deployment challenges into platform improvements.
  • Perform competitive analysis and market research to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
  • Align cross-functional stakeholders across Product, R&D, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success.


What you need to succeed
  • 8+ years of Product Management, Product Ownership, or related experience.
  • Experience delivering enterprise SaaS or cloud-native software solutions.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Azure and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Experience with Generative AI, LLMs, Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), AI agents, and enterprise AI architectures.
  • Understanding of large-scale AI deployments, scalability challenges, and performance optimization.
  • Experience driving cloud efficiency, operational excellence, and platform modernization initiatives.
  • Ability to work effectively with highly technical Engineering and Architecture teams.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with AI observability, evaluation frameworks, and governance controls.
  • Experience with vector databases, retrieval systems, and enterprise knowledge architectures.
  • Experience supporting highly scaled cloud applications and services.
  • Familiarity with OpenText Content Services, Content Aviator, Content Management, Core Content, or Documentum.
  • Experience working with enterprise technology partners such as Microsoft, SAP, Google, or AWS.

Salary Range: $118,000.00 - $168,000.00; Depending on the candidate's education, experience, skills, geographical location, and alignment with internal equity and external market, actual salary may vary and be higher or lower than the range posted.
