The Lead Insights Analyst on the Cloud Success Insights Team delivers data-driven, actionable insights and strategic recommendations that empower Cloud Leaders to drive key programs within Customer Success. You'll provide cross-cloud analytics support to Cloud Success leadership, partnering closely with teams across CSG to turn complex data into clear, executive-ready guidance.
This is a high-visibility individual contributor role with direct business impact. You'll be trusted to respond quickly to questions from senior leaders, and occasionally work outside standard hours to meet that need.
What You'll DoLead ad-hoc and deep-dive analyses to answer high-priority business questions
Build predictive models and forecasts to support planning and decision-making
Conduct variance analysis, impact analysis, and root cause analysis to explain performance drivers
Partner with cross-functional stakeholders across Customer Success and Cloud leadership
Translate complex analytical findings into clear strategic recommendations for executives
Own projects end-to-end, from problem framing through executive presentation
Must-Haves7–10 years of experience in data analytics, business analytics, or a related field
Degree or equivalent proven experience (extracurricular leadership, military, volunteer, or work experience will be considered)
Strong track record of ad-hoc analysis, deep-dive analysis, predictive modeling, and forecasting
Demonstrated experience in variance analysis, impact analysis, and root cause analysis
Proven business partnering skills — experience acting as a strategic partner to cross-functional teams
Strong stakeholder management skills across varying levels of seniority
Excellent executive presentation skills — able to distill complex analysis into clear, actionable stories
Extensive experience writing complex SQL queries
Expertise in a major visualization tool (Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
A curious, ownership-driven mindset with the ability to mentor junior analysts
Nice-to-HavesDirect experience (2+ years) in data engineering
Tableau certification (Desktop Specialist/Professional)
Experience working with cloud data sources
Strong interest in emerging technologies and applying AI to analytics work

The typical base salary range for this position is $99,400 - $186,300 annually.
