The Opportunity

This is a unique opportunity to help redefine how Finance operates in one of the world's largest professional services organizations. As Global Finance Operating Model & Integration Transformation Lead, you will support the strategic architecture of change, shaping the future of WSP's Finance organization as it evolves into a more scalable, digitally enabled, and insight-driven function.

Working at the heart of the Finance Forward transformation program, you will partner directly with senior finance leaders, regional CFOs, and executive stakeholders to solve complex organizational challenges, redesign operating models, and lead critical transformation and integration initiatives across a global enterprise.

This role is ideal for a transformation professional with a consulting mindset who thrives in ambiguity, enjoys influencing without formal authority, and has experience helping large organizations navigate operating model changes, organizational redesign, shared services evolution, post-merger integration, or enterprise transformation journeys.

While this is not a people management role, it is an influential leadership position requiring the ability to work with senior stakeholders, challenge conventional thinking, and turn strategic ambitions into measurable business outcomes.

Your Impact

This is not a traditional Finance role.

You will operate as an internal transformation lead, bringing the structured thinking, problem-solving discipline, and stakeholder influence typically found in top-tier consulting environments.

You will work on some of the most strategic questions facing the Finance function, including:
  • How should Finance evolve to support a rapidly growing global organization?
  • What capabilities should be centralized, regionalized, or embedded within the business?
  • How can acquisitions be integrated efficiently while preserving business continuity?
  • How should organizational structures, governance models, and shared services evolve to support future growth?
  • How can Finance become a stronger strategic partner to the business?

Success in this role requires intellectual curiosity, executive presence, and the ability to move seamlessly from strategy development to implementation.

The skills that set you apart
  • 8-15 years of experience in strategy, transformation, operating model design, organizational effectiveness, post-merger integration, shared services, or finance transformation.
  • Experience gained within a leading management consulting firm such as BCG, McKinsey, Bain, Accenture Strategy, Oliver Wyman, Kearney, Deloitte, EY-Parthenon, Strategy& or equivalent consulting environment is highly valued.
  • Proven track record helping large, complex organizations design and implement enterprise operating models and organizational transformations.
  • Experience driving strategic workstreams with executive-level stakeholders and navigating highly matrixed environments.
  • Demonstrated success translating high-level strategy into tangible operating model, governance, organizational, or process changes.
  • Strong understanding of organizational design, workforce transitions, capability planning, and transformation execution.
  • Finance transformation experience is an asset, but candidates with broader enterprise transformation, operating model, organizational effectiveness, or integration experience will also be considered.
  • MBA or advanced business qualification is considered an asset.

Compensation

BC, AB, SK, NWT & NU: $122,900 - $162,800
MB & ON: $112,100 - $154,400
Atlantic Provinces & QC: $111,000 - $147,400

Disclosure:

The final salary awarded for this role may vary from the above range based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
