Lead Consultant with rich expertise in IFS PSO Techno Functional lead to drive large transformation programs for the client. Infosys is seeking a Senior Consultant / Lead Consultant with strong techno-functional expertise in IFS PSO, IFS Field Service Management, and IFS Cloud to lead AMS delivery for a Canada-based client. The ideal candidate will act as a domain SME, bridge business and technology teams, drive production stability, own solution-quality outcomes, and guide onshore-offshore teams across incident, problem, change, release, and enhancement cycles.
The role requires the ability to translate business needs into scalable IFS capabilities, provide hands-on configuration and troubleshooting, manage stakeholder expectations, and continuously improve field service operations, scheduling performance, mobile workforce enablement, and AMS governance
Required Qualifications:- Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Mississauga, Ontario or Calgary, Alberta and willing to travel to client location on need basis.
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- At least 7 years of Information Technology experience

Required Skills:
- Experience in Architecture/Design /Detailing of Processes and Problem Definition
- Should have in depth functional & knowledge in IFS FSM / WFM or Mobile Work order relevant to Utilities, Telco industries
- Should have worked on configuration of FSM Cloud application, identify and plan for customization to meet the customer requirements, etc.
- Should also understand the FSM processes/technologies and integration of the same with other downstream systems.
- PoC ideation, creation and demonstration to client
- Minimum 10 years of experience in IFS FSM Cloud & FSM legacy apps
Relevant IFS Experience:IFS PSO and Scheduling Optimization- Configure and support planning and scheduling optimization aligned to field-service demand, resource capacity, appointment windows, travel constraints, skill matching, and business rules.
- Analyze scheduling exceptions, dispatch outcomes, optimization performance, and operational constraints to recommend improvements for service delivery and workforce productivity.
- Work with business users to validate scheduling rules, operational calendars, coverage models, and appointment-booking processes.
IFS Mobile work order:- Service app/Maintenance App
- Mobile workflow configurations for Request task/work task, activity type/Work type
- Survey configurations
- Custom configurations such as Lobby, Custom fields, Page configurations etc..
Service Management: (Added advantage)- Service quotation to Order Process
- Service request to Request task
- Work order to work tasks for preventive maintenance
- Service catalog configuration, Standard tasks
- Resource group, resource id configuration for Person, person Group and Equipment
- Scheduling parameter configurations such as Scheduling resource, scheduling work / activity types, Scheduling Datasets, Technician Max/Min travel, lunch break, flexible break etc.
- service organization, service delivery units, Skills, Certifications, qualifications, Shift types, Shift pattern templates, Slot usage rule, Rule collection, Appointment templates
- Company, Site, Customer, location, user and person setup.
Preferred Qualifications:- 12-15 years of experience as an IFS PSO Cloud Consultant SME.
- Deep understanding of IFS Cloud architecture, data model, configuration, and security.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and deliver in fast-paced environments.
- Experience optimizing scheduling, routing, capacity planning, and workforce operations.
- Strong communication skills (telephone, email, and face to face) and high customer orientation.
- Experience in mentoring teams and driving quality standards.
- IFS PSO Cloud certifications.
- Lead Delivery for IFS PSO / Field Service Management with accountability for service quality, SLA adherence, issue resolution, and continuous improvement.
- Own techno-functional analysis across service management, scheduling, mobile work order, supply chain touchpoints, integrations, configuration, data, security, and operational reporting.
- Partner with client business SMEs, IT stakeholders, program managers, project managers, product owners, and offshore teams to shape solutions and deliver predictable outcomes.
- Drive production-support triage, root-cause analysis, defect prioritization, enhancement assessment, release validation, and hyper-care support for business-critical processes.
- Prepare functional specifications, solution options, design notes, configuration workbooks, test scenarios, cutover inputs, knowledge-transfer assets, and operational runbooks.
- Identify opportunities to optimize scheduling, routing, capacity planning, workforce utilization, mobile adoption, support efficiency, and process controls.
The job may entail extensive travel. The job may also entail sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Candidates should be able to effectively communicate by telephone, email, and face to face. Estimated annual compensation range for the candidate based in the below location will be:
