Labcorp is seeking a
LCMS Method Development Scientist III to support our Global Bioanalytical team in
Indianapolis, IN.Work Schedule: Monday - Friday (Day Shift)
Job Responsibilities:- Conducts complex and challenging feasibility/development studies.
- Implements new techniques and instrumentation to improve bioanalytical operations.
- Accepts leadership role in troubleshooting and solving challenging bioanalytical problems.
- Assesses interest and feasibility of research projects requiring a high degree of creativity and technical organization.
- Directs and conducts both fundamental and general application studies in the areas of bioanalytical chemistry.
- Monitors, evaluates, and reviews the scientific performance of assays.
- Authors scientific papers, which are published in peer reviewed journals, and presented in scientific meetings.
- Performs scientific mentoring activities (e.g.; training study specific techniques, assisting with complex analytical work/problem solving, and presenting technique seminars).
- Contributes to long-range planning and technical policies of the department.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:- Bachelors Degree (BSc/BA) in science with 6 years or more of bioanalytical lab experience with 1 year or more of experience performing Bioanalytical method development preferred OR Master Degree (MSc/MA) in science with 3 years or more of bioanalytical lab with 1 year or more of experience performing Bioanalytical method development preferred OR PhD with 1 year or more of bioanalytical lab
Preferred Qualifications:- Current or prior Labcorp experience
Additional Job Standards:- Recognized expert in bioanalytical chemistry.
- Highly skilled in conducting research, data interpretation and writing reports.
- Proven track record of analytical method development.
- Experience and knowledge of analytical instrumentation (eg - HPLC, GC, LC/MS/MS).
- Highly skilled in performing scientific presentation and preparing scientific publications.
- Knowledge of laboratory automation software, system software, and Microsoft applications.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Experience in oligo and ADC LC/MS/MS is highly preferred.

**Pay Range: $70,000 - $100,000 annually
All job offers will be based on a candidate's skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.
