The Opportunity:

CACI has an immediate need for a Law Clerk Ill to support ongoing document review projects for large-scale white-collar fraud investigations under our contract with the DOJ Criminal Division. In this role, you will serve as a team lead for document review law clerks and work closely with DOJ Special Matters Unit Trial Attorneys to plan, coordinate, and execute filter reviews. This is a consultative role requiring strong oral and written communication skills, exceptional organization, and attention to detail. You will also provide guidance to the paralegal team on Relativity workspace setup and other general filter review matters.

Responsibilities:

  • Examine protocol materials, warrants, and other legal work product and filings specific to each matter

  • Coordinate and consult with DOJ Trial Attorneys to develop and follow-through with filter review plan

  • Work closely with Fraud Section Special Matters Unit attorneys to ensure potentially privileged documents are properly quarantined from the investigation and prosecution teams

  • Lead teams of reviewers conducting filter reviews

  • Communicate key issues and notable documents with team

  • Plan and perform quality control review as needed

  • Serve as team lead on assigned cases and assist with drafting release memos as needed

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Law Degree.

  • 3+ years of progressively more responsible experience on litigation support projects.

  • Sound working knowledge of federal and state court systems, legal research procedures, and legal research resources (including Westlaw and Lexis).

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

  • Hands-on familiarity with ESI tools and knowledge of eDiscovery procedures, resources, and databases.

  • Advanced experience using Relativity administrative functions.

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOJ MBI clearance.

Desired:

  • Familiarity and hands-on experience with both Cellebrite and Magnet Axiom highly preferred.

  • Foreign language fluency desired.

  • Leadership experience in small team environments preferred.

  • Ideal candidate will possess qualities such as self-awareness, drive to take initiative, and will demonstrate a client-oriented approach.

$98,800 - $217,500
