Full Job Description
Sullivan & Cromwell is seeking experienced associates to join the Firm's Credit & Leveraged Finance group. Ideal candidates should have at least one to two years of experience working in the finance practice at a law firm, and strong academic credentials. This is an opportunity for experienced lawyers, and as such, current law students are not eligible for consideration for this role.

About the Credit & Leveraged Finance Group:

By working as one integrated team across practice groups and geographies, including the U.S., Europe and Asia-Pacific, lawyers in our Credit & Leveraged Finance practice devise novel business solutions to meet the diverse needs of corporate borrowers, private equity sponsors, private debt providers and other market participants. Our practice is highly active across a wide array of industries: digital infrastructure, industrials, telecoms, energy and natural resources, sports, pharmaceuticals and biotechnology, real estate and beyond. We work with clients that range from emerging growth companies to large-cap, multinational corporates and well-known private funds. Many of our financing transactions are for international clients or involve cross-border elements.

Our leveraged finance lawyers work across the full spectrum of debt products, including acquisition financings, first lien and second lien term loans, asset-based and cash flow revolving credit facilities, mezzanine financings, subordinated notes, high-yield bond offerings and debt-like preferred equity. We frequently work on high-profile or novel financing transactions that are widely covered in the market. We provide excellent training and mentorship for our lawyers, and an opportunity to be part of a rapidly growing, top of the market practice. We welcome applications from associates and counsel at all ranges of seniority.
