DescriptionTradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced
Journeyman HVAC Technicians for projects located in or around
Pierce County, WA. This is a first shift opportunity and the
pay rate is $44-$48/hour based on experience and skill level. If you are a HVAC Technician and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career!
Job Scope:- Install and service HVAC systems including ductwork, furnaces, heat pumps, condensers, compressors, and thermostats
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydronic, and control system issues
- Perform preventative maintenance
- Perform refrigerant recovery, evacuation, and charging
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and electrical schematics
- Use HVAC diagnostic tools and brazing equipment
- Follow OSHA, LOTO, PPE, and all jobsite safety requirements
Requirements:- Minimum of 4 years of HVAC field experience
- Journeyman-level HVAC experience
- EPA Section 608 Universal Certification
- Strong HVAC installation and troubleshooting skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50-75 lbs.
- Ability to work on rooftops, ladders, and in confined spaces
- Must be reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently or as part of a team
