Job Summary
The Japanese Bilingual Counterparty Credit Risk (CCR) Technical Business Analyst will support and enhance Exposure Management and Credit Risk technology platforms within Front Office Technology. The role serves as a bridge between business stakeholders, including Exposure Management, Credit Risk Reporting, Risk Analytics, and Front Office teams, and technology teams. The primary focus is to ensure the stability, accuracy, and regulatory compliance of systems that calculate and monitor counterparty exposure across OTC derivatives, Exchange-Traded Derivatives (ETD), and Securities Financing Transactions (SFTs).
Key Responsibilities
• Support business analysis and requirements management for Exposure Management and Counterparty Credit Risk technology platforms.
• Support production operations, incident management, and resolution of issues affecting risk systems.
• Contribute to risk platform operations and process improvement initiatives.
• Identify opportunities for automation to improve platform reliability and operational efficiency.
• Coordinate with business stakeholders, technology teams, and global teams to support platform stability and delivery.
• Support regulatory and audit requirements related to risk technology platforms and processes.
Required Qualifications
• 12+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst or Systems Business Analyst in financial services.
• Fluent bilingual proficiency in Japanese and English, both spoken and written.
• 8+ years of experience in Risk Technology, Exposure Management, or Counterparty Credit Risk platforms.
• 8+ years of experience with Counterparty Credit Risk (CCR), Potential Future Exposure (PFE) and Expected Positive Exposure (EPE) calculations, collateral and margin management, and credit limits and utilization monitoring.
• 8+ years of experience with financial products, including OTC derivatives, Exchange-Traded Derivatives (ETD), and Securities Financing Transactions (SFTs).
• Strong expertise in business analysis, risk domain processes, production support, SQL, and data analysis.
• Experience with stakeholder management, Jira, Confluence, Agile methodologies, and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes.
