About the role

As a IPA Advisory Lead, you will make an impact by helping clients transform how work gets done through AI, intelligent automation, agentic technologies, digital workforce, and operational transformation, moving them beyond technology pilots to enterprise-scale adoption and measurable business outcomes. You will be a valued member of the IOA IPA Advisory team and work collaboratively with executive and business leaders, delivery, engineering, and platform teams, and clients.

In this role, you will

  • AI and Digital Workforce Strategy: Partner with business and technology leaders to define AI, automation, and digital workforce strategies aligned to enterprise objectives, assessing maturity and readiness and building transformation roadmaps that prioritize value, feasibility, and risk.


  • Advisory and Transformation Leadership: Serve as a trusted advisor on operating model transformation, workforce evolution, governance, and adoption, facilitating executive workshops and leading complex initiatives from strategy through execution and scale.


  • Governance and Responsible AI: Design and implement governance and Responsible AI frameworks, advising clients on AI risk management, decision rights, standards, and policies, and supporting AI, Automation, Digital Workforce, and Agentic Centers of Excellence.


  • Adoption, Change, and Capability Building: Lead organizational change, adoption, and capability-building programs, including enablement strategies, communities of practice, citizen developer programs, and AI literacy initiatives that help clients realize value from technology investments.


  • Program Leadership, Execution, and Thought Leadership: Lead large-scale programs spanning strategy, governance, adoption, and value realization, and contribute to the evolution of IPA Advisory offerings, thought leadership, and business development.

What you need to have to be considered

  • 12+ years of consulting, advisory, transformation, or operational leadership experience, including demonstrated success leading enterprise transformation initiatives involving AI, automation, digital workforce, process improvement, or operational excellence.


  • Experience advising executive stakeholders and facilitating strategic decision-making across business and technology organizations.


  • Strong understanding of AI, automation, agentic technologies, and digital workplace capabilities from a business transformation perspective.


  • Experience developing operating models, governance frameworks, adoption strategies, and capability-building programs.


  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in complex environments, drive execution through influence, and travel to client sites as needed.


These will help you stand out

  • Hands-on experience with AI and automation technologies and platforms, and an understanding of agentic AI, digital labor, process intelligence, workflow automation, and enterprise AI governance.


  • Experience leading enterprise adoption programs, workforce transformation initiatives, and technology-enabled culture change, including user adoption frameworks, enablement strategies, communities of practice, and citizen development programs.


  • Ability to engage effectively with C-suite and senior executive stakeholders and facilitate strategy workshops, visioning sessions, roadmap development, and executive governance forums.


  • Experience supporting solution development, business cases, proposals, and client growth initiatives.


  • Strong understanding of value realization, KPI development, and outcome measurement.

Salary and Other Compensation Applications will be accepted until October 23, 2026.

  • The annual salary for this position is between $180,000 - $195,000 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.


  • This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
