We are looking for a Senior Mobile Developer (IOS) to join our team.
Position Summary:In this role, you will be a key developer and technical lead for the Mobile IT team working on initiatives for the Mobile eCommerce business. The position will report directly to an IT Manager and will interface with the Business for requirements and status of projects. This is a hands on development role with expectations of technology leadership.
Work done includes developing, testing, and supporting the following mobile properties:
- Mobile optimized website for the US
- iOS and Android apps
- Mobile services
Technologies used
- Apple IOS developer ecosystem (Xcode, Objective C, Swift, etc)
- Android developer ecosystem (Android Studio, Java, Android libraries etc)
- Server side technology such as Tomcat, Nodejs, HTML5, Mongo DB etc
- Automation technologies such as Appium, Selenium, HP Quality Center
We follow an agile/scrum methodology and implement features and capabilities in an iterative fashion.
Production pushes happen on a weekly basis and we are looking to move to a "continuous delivery" model by leveraging continuous integration, build etc.
The Product, UX Designer and Creative and the Engineering team works closely in a highly collaborative manner.
Basic Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related subject or 5+ years equivalent experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in software development
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in IOS development
- Knowledge of Objective-C, Swift and Cocoa Pods
- Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
- Solid understanding of the mobile development lifecycle
- Knowledge of design patterns
Preferred Experience working with iOS frameworks such as MapKit, PassKit and Core Tex
- Experience with unit test and continuous integration
- Experience with Spring Framework, Tomcat, Apache, JSP or PHP
- Experience with web service stacks, REST and/or SOAP
- Solid understanding of layered software architecture
