Job Title Datacenter Power Infrastructure Project Manager , Location: Richmond,Virginia.About the RoleSpecific Job Task -- Datacenter Power Infrastructure Project Manager will manage the engineering scope, schedule, and budget for greenfield, brownfield and retrofit engineering / design projects.
- This position will manage internal and external resources for the delivery of the Datacenter power infrastructure to align with Hyperscale datacenter capacity roadmap.
Roles and Responsibilities -- The Datacenter Utility Power Infrastructure Project Manager will be responsible for the facilitation and delivery of industry-leading datacenter power infrastructure including the development of new technology and advanced concepts from pre-programming through design development, construction, and the turnover to Operations.
- This role will provide infrastructure coordination, management, and overall leadership for our datacenter power infrastructure.
- To be successful in this role the candidate will oversee the delivery of multiple, concurrent, complete distribution, substation, and transmission projects supporting datacenter solutions aligned with the scopes, schedules, and budgets of the projects.
Skills and Qualifications -- Successful candidates will manage multiple utility provider teams of engineers and designers to deliver multiple projects aligned with the defined scope, schedule, and budget. The candidate must have excellent project management, communication, organization, and leadership skills.
- Candidates must possess a high level of proficiency in transmission and substation design and construction.
- The candidates must also be able to work with other technical and non-technical groups in a fast- paced environment and do so with an even temperament.
- The candidate must be a person of integrity, be methodical, detailed-oriented with a strong work ethic.
What is the ideal background of a candidate for this role?:- Electrical engineer with project management experience
Basic Qualifications -- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field or 10 years' experience in substation design and/or delivery
- Electrical Engineer / Professional Engineer is a plus
- Candidate must possess strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to lead teams of engineers in advanced engineering and operational processes and procedures as they relate to large datacenter environments
Experience Required -- Minimum of 10 years' experience in consulting engineering or construction of substations
- And minimum of 5 years' experience as lead engineer, design manager or project manager of transmission or substation projects
- And minimum of 5 years' experience with datacenter engineering or construction

Salary and Other Compensation:The annual salary for this position is between $170,000 - 185,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
