Mortenson is currently seeking an experienced Integrated Construction CoordinatorI to join our Civil Group to review, provide analysis, management, and resolution of field coordination issues with project team members and participants. Excellent communication skills are necessary as you will interact with staff at all levels in an ever-changing environment. Demonstrating the ability to be flexible, inventive, dedicated, and efficient with a high level of integrity and confidentiality will be vital for your success. Strong planning and organization skills are critical for completing your tasks.

This role leverages Civil 3D, GIS, machine control technologies, drone data, and civil modeling workflows to improve constructability, optimize scopes of work, and provide data-driven solutions across renewable energy and site development projects. Combine civil engineering knowledge with construction technology expertise to develop innovative solutions that improve project outcomes.

What will you be doing?

• As an integrated construction team member, you should be an active participant in Mortenson's Integrated Delivery Advancement Team community of practice - Knowledge sharing
• Planning, implementing, and coordinating Virtual Design and Construction processes through appropriate technology platforms
• Autodesk AutoCAD Civil 3D to design optimized road and site grading models, alignments, profiles, corridors, grading groups, etc.
• Working with survey data; communicating with project field teams through Trimble Business Center software to deliver designs to survey equipment.
• Including, but not limited to Mortenson BIM/VDC uses: existing conditions modeling, cost estimation, phase planning (4D), site analysis, design reviews, 3D visualization, 3D coordination, site utilization planning, construction system design, digital fabrication, 3D control planning, and record modeling
• Provide point of contact for team members on VDC processes and reports during all phases of construction
• Document work process as it relates to improving and/or changing current company process standards

QUALIFICATIONS

• Associates or Bachelor's degree in Construction, Civil, or Architectural Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent field
• Autodesk AutoCAD Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center, and/or ArcGIS software backgrounds are preferred
• 2+ years related experience
• Survey data knowledge and/or experience is preferred
• GIS data management is a plus
• Completion of beginner or intermediate level of BIM/VDC software training
• Displaying attention to detail to organize and run multiple project tasks
• Possess basic understanding of construction law and generally accepted business practices
• Demonstrate ability to work in Microsoft Office, project, and pertinent web application skills at an intermediate level
• Exhibit a positive professional attitude, and strong customer service skills
• Ability to interpret and communicate Mortenson policies effectively
• Current driver's license

The base pay range for this role is $76,600 MIN - $95,800 MAX. (Actual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL - 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR - 10%, Washington, D.C. - 12.5%).

Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity. This position is eligible for Mortenson's incentive plan.
