Full Job Description
The Construction Field Operations Administration Team Leader oversees the Field Operations administrative team and serves as a key partner to Operations leadership in supporting workforce planning, resource management, and field operations. This role is responsible for leading administrative processes that support field employees throughout the employee lifecycle, ensuring operational needs are met efficiently and accurately. The Team Leader fosters a high-performing team environment, drives continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborates closely with General Superintendents, Senior Superintendents, and internal departments to support organizational objectives.

A day in the life:
• Partner with Operations leadership to coordinate workforce planning and resource management activities, including manpower assignments, workforce movements and staffing adjustments to meet operational demands.
• Lead, develop, and supervise the Field Operations administrative team through recruitment, onboarding, training, coaching, performance management, and employee development initiatives.
• Oversee field operations administrative processes, ensuring work is prioritized, delegated, and executed accurately, efficiently, and in alignment with operational and business objectives.
• Serve as the primary administrative liaison to General Superintendents and Senior Superintendents, providing leadership and support for workforce-related processes and operational initiatives.
• Monitor data integrity within Penta, resource planning tools, and other operational systems to support accurate reporting and informed decision-making.
• Lead departmental initiatives, meetings, and special projects while supporting the Construction Administration Manager in achieving strategic goals and continuous improvement efforts.

You should have:

1. Possess High School Diploma or equivalent

2. 3+ years of experience in construction administration, field operations support, office management, or project administration, including at least 1 years in a supervisory, leadership, or team management role.

3. Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.

4. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and construction software (e.g., Penta, Procore, or equivalent).

5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

6. Detail-oriented and committed to accuracy and quality.

7. Ability to lead, coach, and inspire team members in a collaborative environment.

8. Working knowledge of workforce planning, resource allocation, and employee lifecycle processes within a construction or service operations environment.
