This position reports to:Product Marketing Manager
Your role and responsibilities: The Installed Base Manager is a critical role within ABB's ELSE US organization, responsible for building, formalizing, and maintaining the integrity of our installed base management processes across the United States. This individual will serve as the primary point of contact for all installed base activities, bridging the gap between factory operations, sales teams, and end users to ensure accurate and up-to-date asset data throughout the product lifecycle.
This role is contributing to the Electrification Services Division in the United States.
You will be mainly accountable for:- Lead installed base management operations by developing, standardizing, and continuously improving processes, workflows, and best practices to ensure scalable and efficient data management across the US organization.
- Coordinate cross-functionally with Factory and Sales teams to ensure accurate transfer, validation, and maintenance of installed base data, including container uploads, sales transfers, and customer site confirmations.
- Serve as the primary installed base platform administrator and user support lead, providing training, troubleshooting, onboarding, access rights management, and guidance to internal stakeholders.
- Own data quality, governance, and site validation activities by reviewing and approving site entries, maintaining data integrity, resolving discrepancies, and driving ongoing cleanup and reporting initiatives.
Qualifications for the role:- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations, or a related field or equivalent work experience associated with the job description.
- 3+ years of experience in data management, operations, sales operations, or a related discipline, ideally in electrical industry.
- Experience working cross-functionally with sales, operations, and manufacturing teams.
- Excellent organizational skills with a high attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in CRM and/or installed base management platforms (e.g., Salesforce, SAP).
- Preferred background includes: process formalization or change management initiatives, and an understanding of installed base or asset management processes and tools.

While base salary is determined by things such as the successful applicant's qualifications and experience, this position is expected to pay between $68,600 and $109,760 annually.
