Qualifications

  • Proficient in SolidWorks CAD software for design tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Design new equipment and modify existing equipment for various divisions.
  • Collaborate closely with the electrical department throughout the design process.
  • Coordinate with the machine shop regarding detail prints and components.
  • Work with mechanical and electrical fabricators during design, fabrication, testing, and installation.
  • Monitor new equipment to ensure proper installation and functioning.
  • Handle various purchasing duties related to equipment needs.

We are currently seeking an Equipment Design Engineer to join our East Penn Innovation Center in Kutztown, PA.

Responsibilities

• Designing new equipment and modifying existing equipment for all divisions.• Working directly with electrical department in design process.• Working directly with machine shop regarding detail prints and component parts.• Working directly with mechanical & electrical fabricators during design, fabrication, testing and installation of equipment.• Monitoring new equipment to insure proper installation.• Various purchasing duties.

Qualifications
