Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in electrical engineering in water treatment, oil & gas, chemicals, or power sectors.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Control Engineering.
• Bilingual in French and English, both spoken and written, is highly advantageous.
• P.Eng license or candidate status for the engineering profession (OIQ in Quebec or elsewhere in Canada).
• Experience with SAP and motor control center design, as well as valve/instrument selection.
• Familiarity with NEC, UL508A, and CSA standards.
• Strong planning, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to travel approximately 10%, primarily between Oakville and Montreal.

Responsibilities

• Generate and approve essential engineering deliverables such as P&IDs, diagrams, load lists, and specifications.
• Design control panels and power distribution systems, along with control system architecture.
• Manage vendor selection processes, procurement tasks, and project scheduling.
• Apply specialized knowledge in hazardous location classification and design standards, including cable routing.
