Position Summary The Industrial Engineer (II-III) is responsible for optimizing manufacturing processes, improving efficiency, and supporting production and new product introduction activities. This role applies methods engineering, capacity analysis, and facility design to enhance operational performance.
Level II engineers are developing foundational expertise and operate with moderate guidance, while Level III engineers possess deeper experience, work more independently, and contribute strategic or complex improvements.
Key Responsibilities - Perform methods engineering analysis including process design, time studies, and workflow optimization to improve manufacturing efficiency.
- Lead or participate in industrial engineering projects and continuous improvement initiatives; implement solutions and track performance.
- Conduct ergonomics and human factors evaluations; recommend and implement improvements.
- Design and implement manufacturing layouts, material handling systems, and production flow.
- Support new product introductions (NPI) including line design and tooling development.
- Analyze and maintain production capacity models and optimize utilization.
- Develop cost analyses and ROI justifications.
- Establish and maintain standards and procedures.
- Manage calibration and line side hardware programs.
- Promote safety, compliance, and continuous improvement culture.
Level Distinction Industrial Engineer II: Builds foundational knowledge, solves routine problems, works with guidance, and provides informal support.
Industrial Engineer III: Applies advanced knowledge, works independently, leads initiatives, and mentors others.
Core Competencies Functional Knowledge, Business Acumen, Problem Solving, Leadership, and Impact vary by level with increasing complexity and independence at Level III.
Technical Skills AutoCAD, Tableau, Lean Manufacturing, Capacity Modeling, Production Layout Design
Qualifications Education: Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
Experience: IE II: 2-4 years; IE III: 4-7 years.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, and work in manufacturing environments. PPE and cleanroom attire may be required. Ability to work in varying physical conditions.

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.
For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
