The Global Trade Compliance team at Marvell is growing and is an exciting place to be! Our focus is on building a strong collaborative team environment in a fast-paced industry with trade compliance professionals that are committed to compliance excellence.

What You Can Expect

. Communicate with brokers support timely and accurate releases to of shipments; and ensure accurate country of origin,

. HTS classifications and valuations are assigned and declared to Customs. Communicate and respond to government agencies, including Customs, Census Bureau, and other PGAs.

. Handle internal self-assessment and post entry audits for U.S. Custom entries, as well as other import programs, including CTPAT.

. The Imports Analyst will support the development of import process documentation, including procedures and SOPs.

. The role will also work closely with other Marvell teams in other countries to ensure proper import process, including Canada imports.

What We're Looking For

The Imports Analyst will actively support Marvell's import compliance activities, with a focus on ensuring U.S. imports procedures are followed. The Imports Analyst will play an important role on the Global Trade Compliance Team ensuring smooth entries of shipments into the U.S. and support shipments around the world.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in business, supply chain management, logistics, engineering, or a related field and


  • 3 to 5 years of experience in trade compliance with a focus on import compliance matters.


Required Skills and Experience

  • Ability to understand and interpret and apply U.S. Import regulations


  • Experience and ability to determine HTS Classifications, assign correct Country of Origin and determine the appropriate value for imports


  • Ability to develop and document procedures and processes


  • Experience and knowledge of Customs Entry Declaration process


  • Communicate clearly with brokers and government agencies


  • Duty mitigation procedures


  • Experience with Entry Process Audit, Post Entry Audit and Post Summary Corrections


  • Ability to make solid independent judgments and determinations


  • Experience with ACE and CTPAT portal


  • Experience with application of Trade Agreements


  • Customs Broker's license desired


Expected Base Pay Range (USD)
70,490 - 105,600, $ per annum

The successful candidate's starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
