Description
The Imaging & Resection Manager leads the growth, strategy, and overall performance of the Arthrex Imaging & Resection business within the assigned geography - driving business development, team leadership, strategic account management, and capital pipeline execution. The role requires strong command of the OR environment, executive-level relationship skills across the hospital system, and the ability to translate organizational objectives into measurable results.
Key Responsibilities
Business Leadership & Strategy
• Own I&R business performance, revenue growth, and market development within the assigned geography; develop and execute the annual business plan.
• Establish territory, account, and market strategies to grow share; identify competitive threats, whitespace, and conversion opportunities.
Team Leadership & Development
• Lead, coach, and develop I&R Specialists and team members; set performance expectations and conduct regular reviews.
• Recruit, onboard, and retain high-performing talent; build a culture of accountability, urgency, and continuous improvement.
Capital Sales & Pipeline Management
• Own the I&R capital pipeline; ensure forecasting accuracy and consistent CRM and opportunity management.
• Lead strategy for complex capital opportunities (video, imaging, integration, resection, service, financing) and participate directly in key negotiations.
Strategic Account Management
• Build executive-level relationships across hospital administration, perioperative and physician leadership, supply chain, finance, and IT.
• Lead strategic account planning, Quarterly Business Reviews, and negotiations for priority hospitals and health systems.
Cross-Functional Leadership
• Coordinate resources across Arthrex Tampa, corporate teams, territory reps, and strategic partners to execute demos, evaluations, and implementations.
• Serve as escalation point for major customer issues; communicate field intelligence and market trends to leadership.
Requirements
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree required; minimum 5 years of medical device sales experience, including capital equipment, video, imaging, or integration technology.
• 3+ years of leadership experience preferred, with demonstrated success developing sales teams and managing complex capital opportunities and strategic accounts.
• Experience with hospital executives/C-suite stakeholders, forecasting, pipeline management, and strategic account development.
• Strong business acumen, executive-level communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to lead through influence and manage multiple complex priorities.
