Investment Banking Division

Our division works on some of the most complex financial challenges and transactions in the market today. Whether advising on a merger, providing financial solutions for an acquisition, or structuring an initial public offering, we handle projects that help clients at major milestones. We work with corporations, pension funds, financial sponsors, and governments and are team of strong analytical thinkers, who have a passion for producing out-of-the-box ideas.

The Equity Financing Group within the Investment Banking Division is looking for an experienced Associate/Vice President to join the Equity Capital Markets group in New York.

The Equity Capital Markets group originates, structures, and executes equity, convertible and equity derivative financings and solutions on behalf of ECC' global corporate client base. The group cultivates day-to-day advisory relationships with multinational corporations, private companies, governments and financial sponsors.

The group is divided both by product (equity, convertibles and derivatives) and by industry (mirroring those in the Classic Banking) and works closely with many other areas of the firm, particularly Equity Sales & Trading and Classic Banking.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree completed
• At least 4-6 years of relevant banking experience - particularly in convertibles
• A keen, long-term interest in investment banking and the financial markets. Specific experience in a capital markets role at a major banking firm is preferred
• Strong quantitative and technical abilities
• Strong verbal and written communications skills
