About the Role
We are seeking a strategic and business-focused HR Business Manager (Sr HRBP) to support our Environmental business across Canada and the United States. This role is a key member of the HR leadership team and will partner directly with senior business leaders, including the VP Environmental, NCA and Country Chair, to drive organizational growth, talent strategy, leadership development, and workforce planning.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR leader who enjoys balancing high-level strategy with hands-on execution in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
What You'll Do
- Partner with senior leaders to develop and execute people strategies that support business growth and transformation.
- Provide coaching and guidance on organizational design, workforce planning, talent management, and employee engagement.
- Advise leaders on performance management, succession planning, and leadership development.
- Lead and support complex employee relations matters while ensuring compliance with Canadian and U.S. employment legislation.
- Drive initiatives that foster a high-performance culture aligned with company values.
- Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence on talent acquisition, compensation, learning and development, performance management, and change management initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, organizational effectiveness, and the employee experience.
- Represent business needs and perspectives in HR projects and organizational initiatives.
- Leadership Responsibility
- This role directly supports and develops a small HR team or 6 direct and indirect reports.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
- 10+ years of progressive HR experience.
- 7+ years of HR Business Partner experience supporting senior business leaders.
- Demonstrated experience partnering with executive and C-suite leadership teams.
- Strong experience in organizational design, workforce planning, talent management, and leadership development.
- Knowledge of Canadian and U.S. employment legislation and HR practices.
- Proven ability to influence leaders and drive organizational change in a complex business environment.
- Bilingual in English and French is an asset.
- Experience supporting multi-site or international operations.
Travel
Occasional travel within Canada and the United States as required.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $140,000 - $155,000 CAD + Bonus
