Thomson Reuters Special Services (TRSS) is looking for a Human Resources Business Partner to support the human capital strategy for TRSS, ensuring alignment with business objectives, growth plans, and the long-term strategic vision of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Partnering with senior leaders to align business strategies with business goals

• Proactively identifying opportunities to further strengthen and build diverse teams to support growth within the organization

• Providing strategic direction for the continued development of inclusion, belonging, and employee engagement practices.

• Managing the learning and development program while facilitating and supporting custom development training based on employee and business needs

• Supporting the performance management cycle, including driving people leader accountability on key deadlines

• Supporting talent through onboarding and offboarding initiatives

• Advising employees and managers on conflict resolution regarding employee relations matters

• Providing employees with guidance and resources related to leave of absences

• Managing HR system administration, including Workday transactions and case management, the HR SharePoint, and required training

• Managing required compliance reporting and maintaining data integrity through Workday

• Partnering with the Talent Acquisition Specialists to provide insight on ways TRSS can continue to share their brand as a multi-year Washington Post Top Workplace

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, human resources, business, or a related field. Equivalent experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

• Minimum 6 years in a Human Resources profession, with increasing levels of responsibility

• Passion for strategy and creativity balanced with strong attention to detail

• Ability to plan, organize, and adapt in a fast-paced working environment while managing multiple, competing priorities across strategic and transactional work

• Excellent communication skills to work with department leads, program managers, and C-Suite executives, ensuring all necessary individuals are informed of business updates

• Exemplify the TRSS values of Care, Character, Collaboration, and Trust

• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. national security clearance

• U.S. Citizenship essential to comply with government contract/agency or department of Federal Government requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting employee engagement, inclusion, belonging, learning and development, or HR systems initiatives in a growing organization.

• Experience with Workday, HR SharePoint administration, compliance reporting, or HR case management.

• Ability to build trusted partnerships with senior leaders, program managers, department leads, and cross-functional stakeholders.

Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The base compensation range varies across locations. Eligible office location(s) for this role include one or more of the following: New York City, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and/or Irvine, CA; McLean, VA; Washington, DC. The base compensation range for the role in any of those locations is $85,500 USD - $158,700 USD. Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual9s knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay is one part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs. This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance.
