About this position

SeeScan is seeking an HR Generalist to provide key operational support to our Human Resources department. Reporting to our HR Manager, you will help lead the day-to-day execution that keeps our manufacturing and engineering operations running smoothly. An outgoing, driven individual who enjoys taking on challenges will thrive in this role.

This is a full-time, fully onsite position located in Kearny Mesa.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $78,000 to $92,000 annually.

This range represents a good faith estimate based on the qualifications we expect to find in a successful candidate. Actual compensation offered may be less or greater than this estimate based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, our assessment of your ability to bring value to our organization.

In this position, you will

  • Complete HR administrative functions, including maintaining personnel files and benefits documentation, preparing workers' compensation documents and managing claims, and supporting new hire onboarding
  • Support employee relations matters, including disciplinary meetings, investigations, and terminations, in partnership with the HR Manager and HR Director
  • Serve as a first point of contact for employee questions regarding HR policies, procedures, benefits, and compliance training
  • Collaborate with the HR team on department projects and initiatives, including annual open enrollment
  • Maintain accurate employee and HRIS data through regular audits and updates
  • Support recruiting activities as needed, including resume review, phone screening, interview scheduling, and candidate coordination
  • Assist with HR compliance, documentation, and other department initiatives as needed

Your background

  • Previous professional HR experience, preferably in an HR Generalist or similar role
  • Working knowledge of HRIS systems; ADP Workforce Now experience is a plus
  • Working knowledge of federal and California employment laws and HR compliance requirements, including wage-and-hour laws, leaves and accommodations, workplace safety, and employee relations
  • Experience supporting benefits administration, workers' compensation, onboarding, and/or employee relations preferred
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
