As a Health Industry – Payer Utilization Management Consulting Manager, your primary responsibilities may include:
- Lead the planning and successful delivery of client engagements, managing the work of Accenture and client working teams and participating directly in project delivery execution
- Ensure the successful implementation of solutions within promised time and budget, and to the client’s satisfaction
- Build and maintain trust-based client relationships based on successful delivery and a client-centered approach
- Serve as an example-driven leader to the project team, providing opportunities for people to develop and enhance key skills, giving honest and timely feedback, and establishing a followership of people who want to work with you
- Develop project plans and solutions that are tailored to client needs
- Support development of Accenture assets and tools used to drive and accelerate value to our clients, with particular emphasis on assets focused on utilization management
Travel
- Travel - as needed, varies by client needs and could be up to 80%
Qualifications:
Here's what you need:
- Minimum of 5 years of direct experience in Payer Utilization Management, including in an operational leadership role that was accountable for delivering on productivity, quality and compliance metrics
- Minimum of 3 years of Health Industry management consulting experience
- Bachelor's Degree

- Proven ability to plan, organize and deliver impactful results across multiple projects or initiatives
- Proven understanding of utilization management operating models, technology enablers, and regulatory requirements
- Experience applying data-driven insights, advanced automation, and creative sourcing solutions to transform payer clinical operations and outcomes
- Skilled at unlocking the value of AI to improve payer clinical operations performance
Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
