You will deepen senior client relationships, expand our footprint across business units and capabilities, and identify untapped commercial opportunities that drive sustainable revenue and profitability. Working closely with clients, agency partners, and cross-functional leaders, you will pioneer strategic programs, scale integrated teams, and ensure we consistently deliver innovative, high-quality work.

This opportunity is ideal for an entrepreneurial, growth-minded leader with the industry expertise, executive presence, and collaborative instincts to turn opportunity into action. If you have a proven track record of unlocking organic growth, driving profitability, building trusted client partnerships, and delivering transformative work, let's connect.
Responsibilities:
  • Drive Account Expansion & Revenue Growth: Proactively identify, pitch, and capture net-new organic growth opportunities within the client organization, transforming existing projects into large-scale, long-term strategic programs.
  • Strategic Client Partnership: Build and sustain high-level relationships with senior executives, becoming the client's trusted strategic marketing partner. Establish a rigorous operational cadence, leading routine client performance reviews, reporting, and impactful Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) to demonstrate ongoing value and align on future business objectives.
  • Financial Ownership & Profitability: Command accountability for the account's overall financial health, driving revenue optimization, maximizing profitability margins, and scaling client investments.
  • Lead High-Impact Pitches & Proposals: Spearhead internal and external new business initiatives, crafting high-conversion proposals, commercial strategies, and pitching innovative digital solutions spanning platforms, video, email, events, and emerging tech.
  • Team Scaling & Leadership: Mentor, manage, and scale a high-performing account team, instilling a commercial mindset and empowering direct reports to drive growth within their respective sub-accounts.
  • Operational & Delivery Excellence: Partner with cross-functional global offices to ensure high-velocity, top-tier project execution that meets aggressive timeline, budget, and quality benchmarks.
  • Data-Driven Innovation: Leverage data, analytics, and business intelligence to continuously optimize active programs, ensuring measurable ROI and business impact for the client.
  • Develop Impact Case Studies: Synthesize complex data and creative successes into compelling case studies that showcase Monks' contribution to the client's commercial success, leveraging these insights to unlock further budgets.
  • Promote Cross-Collaboration: Share brand insights, localized strategies, and commercial best practices with Monks hubs to ensure global alignment and standardized excellence.
  • Cultivate High EQ & Collaborative Culture: Lead with high emotional intelligence, fostering empathy, constructive feedback loops, and alignment across diverse, cross-cultural teams.

About You
The essentials:
  • 12+ years of agency or client-side marketing experience, with a proven track record of managing large-scale portfolios and delivering revenue growth year-over-year.
  • Deep expertise in writing large-scale, winning commercial proposals and pitching technical, creative, and strategic solutions.
  • A demonstrable passion for business development and enterprise account growth, with the ability to translate new opportunities and overarching strategies into scalable digital marketing programs that achieve key business objectives.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage, persuade, and command the room during executive-level presentations.
  • Proven ability to guide, develop, and scale high-performing, cross-functional teams while keeping client satisfaction metrics exceptionally high.
  • A tech-forward mindset with a strong foundation in AI literacy. You maintain an openness and active willingness to innovate, leverage emerging technologies, collaborate across disciplines, and optimize both creative and operational workflows.
