What will your typical day look like?As a Grid Planning Senior Consultant, you'll be at the forefront of ElectrifiedGrid's customer success story-partnering with utility planners to unlock the full potential of our strategic grid planning tool. You'll leverage your deep expertise in electrical utilities and grid planning processes to guide clients through tool configuration, change management and strategic implementation. Working closely with customer success, product and commercial teams, you'll conduct discovery sessions with utilities, develop customized implementation roadmaps, and advise on optimal integration of ElectrifiedGrid insights into their strategic planning cycles. You'll also identify best practices, document lessons learned, and champion product enhancements based on real-world utility planning needs.
Key Responsibilities:- Implementation & Client Advisory
- Conduct comprehensive discovery sessions with utility stakeholders to understand their grid planning challenges, strategic objectives, and organizational constraints.
- Guide utilities through tool configuration and integration workflows to ensure optimal setup and adoption.
- Advise on best practices for integrating ElectrifiedGrid outputs into strategic planning, rate case filings, capital investment decisions, and regulatory submissions.
- Serve as a trusted advisor on how to leverage technology adoption modeling, infrastructure impact assessments and solution design to enhance decision-making.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops with utility teams on tool functionality, result interpretation, and strategic application of results.
- Commercialization & Standardization
- Prepare detailed implementation documentation, training materials, and process guides tailored to each utility's organizational structure and skill levels.
- Develop a tailored proposed implementation approach as part of technical sales that aligns ElectrifiedGrid's capabilities with each utility's specific business processes and planning cycles
- Identify and share best practices across the ElectrifiedGrid customer base to accelerate adoption and maximize value realization.
- Product Feedback & Eminence
- Collaborate with technical teams to troubleshoot implementation challenges and identify product enhancements based on client feedback.
- Document and synthesize client feedback, implementation challenges, and success stories to inform product roadmap and feature prioritization.
- Collaborate with product and sales teams to develop case studies and thought leadership content demonstrating ElectrifiedGrid's impact on grid modernization.

Enough about us, let's talk about youYou are someone who has these skills, experience & qualifications:- Minimum 5-10 years of experience in electrical utilities, grid planning, or related infrastructure roles, with direct involvement in utility strategic planning processes.
- Deep expertise in grid planning, including distribution system planning, load forecasting, infrastructure assessment, and capital planning methodologies.
- Proven experience working within utility organizations or as a consultant advising utilities, with strong understanding of utility business models, regulatory environments, and organizational decision-making structures.
- Demonstrated success in translating complex technical concepts into actionable business insights and advising senior utility stakeholders on strategic planning and investment decisions.
- Strong consulting and advisory skills, with the ability to conduct discovery, develop recommendations, and guide clients through implementation of strategic initiatives.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage utility planners, executives, technical teams, and cross-functional stakeholders at all levels.
- Highly motivated, proactive, and results-oriented with the ability to act as a thought partner to drive client success and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work on multiple client engagements and priorities simultaneously.
- Familiarity with grid planning software and power system analysis is strongly preferred.
- Experience with flexibility markets and non-wires alternatives is a strong plus.
Total RewardsThe salary range for this position is $72,000 - $138,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
