The Role

We're looking for a proactive, customer-focused Global Logistics & Trade Compliance Coordinator to join our Global Logistics & Trade Compliance team. This role is responsible for coordinating domestic and international shipments, supporting export compliance activities, and ensuring the efficient movement of company assets worldwide.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter who enjoys solving complex logistics challenges, thinks critically, and takes ownership of their work. This individual should be comfortable managing multiple priorities, working independently with minimal supervision, and partnering with internal stakeholders, carriers, and customs brokers to resolve shipping and trade compliance issues.

Location: This is a fully onsite position based in our Sunnyvale, CA office and requires in-office attendance five days per week.

What You'll Do

  • Coordinate domestic and international shipments using UPS, FedEx, DHL, and other approved carriers.
  • Prepare and review commercial invoices, shipping documentation, and customs paperwork for international shipments.
  • Resolve international shipping issues, customs clearance delays, and carrier exceptions by working directly with carriers, customs brokers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure shipments comply with applicable export regulations, company policies, and international shipping requirements.
  • Determine appropriate shipment values, HTS classifications, country of origin, Incoterms, and required export documentation with guidance from the Trade Compliance Manager.
  • Monitor shipments from origin through final delivery and proactively communicate status updates.
  • Support import and export compliance initiatives, including maintaining shipping records and audit documentation.
  • Process inventory receiving transactions within Dynamics 365 (or similar ERP) and maintain asset accuracy.
  • Support day-to-day warehouse operations including coordinating delivery, receiving, inspecting, and distribution of equipment to employees and internal teams.
  • Identify opportunities to improve shipping processes, automation, reporting, and customer experience.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Support logistics reporting and operational metrics.

What You'll Bring

  • 4–6 years of experience in logistics, international shipping, supply chain, or trade compliance.
  • Demonstrated experience managing international shipments from origin through customs clearance and final delivery.
  • Working knowledge of import/export documentation, including commercial invoices, country of origin, HTS classification, and Incoterms®.
  • Experience using ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar.
  • Hands-on experience with shipping platforms such as UPS WorldShip, FedEx Ship Manager, DHL, or similar carrier systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to independently resolve logistics and shipping challenges.
  • Critical thinkers who proactively identifies solutions, opportunities for process improvement and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, global environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice to Have

  • Basic understanding of Export Administration Regulations (EAR), Incoterms®, Customs regulations, and Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS).
  • Familiarity with shipping dangerous goods, including lithium-ion batteries.
  • Experience supporting global logistics operations.

SF Bay Area, New York City Metro Area:

Base Pay Range: 92,800.00 - 136,070.00 USD

California (excludes SF Bay Area), Colorado, Connecticut, Illinois, Washington DC Metro, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Texas, Washington, Virginia, and Alaska:

Base Pay Range: 75,000.00 - 110,000.00 USD

All other cities and states excluding those listed above:

Base Pay Range: 68,600.00 - 100,650.00 USD
