The Opportunity
- Global Program Architecture: Design, build, and deliver global Occupational Hygiene and Biosafety programs covering chemical/biological risks, noise protection, radiation, and multi-site ergonomics.
- End-to-End Biosafety Leadership: Lead strategic biosafety initiatives spanning R&D, diagnostics development, large-scale manufacturing, and circular supply chain instrument decontamination.
- Risk Mitigation for Innovation: Evaluate and proactively mitigate emerging safety risks associated with novel therapeutic modalities, single-use technologies, and patient-centric solutions.
- Systems & Standards Ownership: Own, maintain, and continuously improve global technical guidelines, digital solution rollouts, and training programs within the corporate SHE Management System.
- Network & Talent Cultivation: Build, strengthen, and coach a highly collaborative regional network of Industrial Hygiene and Biosafety professionals.
- Strategic Governance & Audits: Conduct complex assessments, support the corporate SHE Audit program, and establish data-driven metrics to enable innovative, compliant decision-making.
- Executive Influence: Act as a premier global technical advisor, delivering clear briefings and coaching business stakeholders to take active ownership of safety programs.
Who You Are
- Professional Certification: Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) or a recognized equivalent global certification is required.
- Educational Foundation: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Health, Environmental Science, or a closely related technical field.
- Corporate Scale: 5+ years of dedicated industrial hygiene experience within a large multinational corporation, with a proven track record handling large technical sites or corporate-level programs.
- Program Implementation Track Record: Demonstrated success developing and managing comprehensive corporate industrial hygiene, biosafety, and ergonomics initiatives from scratch.
- Matrix Influence: Proven ability to build relationships, actively listen, and effectively persuade senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams in a complex, global matrix environment.
- Growth Mindset: Highly adaptable professional willing to experiment, seek constructive feedback, leverage external professional networks, and pursue continuous upskilling.

This role is eligible for relocation benefits.
The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Indiana is $166,600 - $309,400. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
