This role is ideal for a highly motivated sales professional seeking to build a career in foreign exchange sales, international payments, and relationship management while contributing directly to revenue growth and client acquisition efforts

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development & Sales Generation
  • Prospect and develop new FX opportunities across Consumer, Wealth, Small Business, and Business Banking segments through internal referrals, portfolio reviews, market intelligence, and outbound sales activities.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective clients with cross-border payment, foreign currency, and international banking needs.
  • Identify opportunities among clients involved in international trade, overseas real estate transactions, foreign investments, international education expenses, family support payments, and other global financial activities.
  • Conduct outbound calling campaigns and business development initiatives designed to generate qualified opportunities and expand FX penetration.
  • Support efforts to acquire both new-to-bank relationships and deepen existing client relationships through additional FX and international payment solutions.

Client Engagement & Sales Support
  • Participate in client meetings, discovery calls, and sales presentations alongside senior FX sales professionals.
  • Engage directly with clients to understand international business and personal banking needs, identify opportunities, and present appropriate FX solutions.
  • Assist with the sales process from opportunity identification through transaction execution and relationship expansion.
  • Support foreign exchange transactions, including spot contracts, forward contracts, currency orders, and cross-border payment solutions.
  • Help coordinate onboarding activities, documentation requirements, product implementation, and trade readiness efforts.

Partner Development & Channel Management
  • Build strong relationships with branch leadership, wealth advisors, business bankers, small business specialists, and treasury partners.
  • Increase awareness of foreign exchange solutions across referral channels through ongoing education, training, and joint calling efforts.
  • Assist in developing and executing partner engagement strategies designed to increase referral activity and FX market penetration.
  • Deliver presentations, market updates, and educational sessions that help partners identify clients with international banking needs.
  • Support regional and national initiatives focused on expanding FX capabilities throughout the Consumer, Affluent Wealth, and Small and Business Banking organization.

  • Develop expertise in foreign exchange markets, currency trends, international payment solutions, and global economic developments.
  • Monitor market activity and communicate relevant foreign exchange insights to clients and internal partners.
  • Explain foreign exchange products and market developments in a clear, practical manner that supports client decision-making.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitive offerings, and emerging international payment opportunities.

Client Service & Operational Support
  • Coordinate with Trading, Operations, Treasury Management, Credit, Compliance, and Legal teams to ensure seamless client onboarding, execution and support.
  • Assist with transaction processing, payment investigations, client service requests, and issue resolution.
  • Maintain accurate client records, opportunity tracking, pipeline reporting, and CRM documentation.
  • Ensure all activities are conducted in accordance with U.S. Bank policies, regulatory requirements, and risk management standards.
