Job Summary
We are seeking a Full Stack Java Developer to support and enhance enterprise investment servicing applications. The role focuses on developing Java-based solutions, building and optimizing Oracle database components, designing ETL workflows, and supporting critical data integrations across investment operations. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Java development, SQL, data processing, and scripting, along with an interest in financial services and investment management environments.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain Java applications and JSP-based components supporting investment operations.
• Build and optimize Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and stored procedures for high-volume data processing.
• Develop and maintain ETL workflows to integrate internal and external data sources.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to support investment servicing processes and data requirements.
• Develop automation and operational tools using Python or other scripting languages.
• Troubleshoot production issues and improve application performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities while promoting engineering best practices.
• Support data integration and processing activities across enterprise investment servicing applications.
Required Qualifications
• Strong hands-on experience in Java development.
• Experience with Java 21 and JSP-based application development.
• Hands-on SQL development experience, preferably with Oracle databases and stored procedures.
• Experience with Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.
• Experience designing and implementing ETL workflows.
• Scripting experience, preferably with Python.
• Experience working with data-intensive applications and integrations.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
• Exposure to financial services, investment management, or asset management environments.
• Familiarity with managed accounts, securities, equities, fixed income, holdings, positions, or tax lots.
• Experience working with market data providers such as Bloomberg or ICE Pricing.
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale data processing and reporting solutions.
