Novarc Technologies is looking for a seasoned Full Stack Software Developer to implement cloud-based dashboards and development of our core product features.
Summary: As a Full Stack Software Developer you won't just be writing code; you will be designing robust, high-performance systems that are built to last. You understand that "done" doesn't just mean the code runs-it means the code is tested, documented, and ready for a professional release.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Architect & Design: Take ownership of complex system architectures, ensuring scalability and high performance using React and TypeScript.
- Build and maintain: Develop modern, responsive dashboard and contribute to UI/UX improvements with a focus on usability and clean design.
- Third-Party Integration: Incorporate external APIs, third-party tools, and cloud platforms like AWS while refining for top-tier security, scalability, and efficiency.
- Ship Quality: Apply your experience in shipping "shrink-wrapped" or commercial-grade software to ensure our releases are stable, polished, and reliable.
- Practice Agile Principles: Participate in and refine our Agile processes, helping the team balance rapid iteration with long-term architectural integrity.
- Champion Testing: Integrate rigorous automated testing and CI/CD patterns into the development lifecycle. You believe that if it isn't tested, it's broken.
- Security-First Mindset: Deep understanding of web application security principles, including mitigating OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities, secure API design, and implementing robust authentication (OAuth, JWT).
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience: 8+ years of professional web application development experience, with a track record of shipping commercial-grade products.
- Frontend Mastery: Expert-level proficiency in React, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
- Backend Expertise: Strong experience with Node.js, and a solid understanding of RESTful API design.
- Database Fundamentals: Strong experience working with SQL databases and managing large datasets.
- Engineering Standards: Deep proficiency in unit testing, debugging production-level software, and modern Agile practices.
Bonus Points (Nice to Have):
- Experience with Golang for building high-concurrency web application backend.
- Familiarity with Python.
- Experience with memory-safe programming, conducting security audits, and mitigating common web vulnerabilities (OWASP Top 10, XSS, CSRF).
- Understanding of advanced state management (e.g., Redux data flows).
- Experience with cloud-based architectures, including SaaS and PaaS.
