Your role
We are looking for a
Senior Software Development Engineer with strong experience in both backend and frontend development. The ideal candidate will be skilled in
Java backend development and modern
UI development using React. This role will work across the full stack to build scalable, reliable, and user-friendly applications.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain backend applications and services using Java.
- Writing code to build complex core components and frameworks.
- Design, develop, and deploy cloud-native solutions, including microservices and serverless paradigms using Spring Boot and Java.
- Build responsive and modern frontend applications using React, Javascript, Typescript, Angular, and UI technologies.
- Proven track record in microservices, event-driven architecture (Kafka/RabbitMQ), and API design (REST/GraphQL).
- Implement generative AI APIs and leverage LLMs for business applications.
- Develop and integrate APIs and web services.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers, and other integrated teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Strong skills in relational databases (Oracle, POstgres) and NoSQL solutions (MongoDB, Redis).
- Develop and integrate Python components for services, automation, or data processing.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and improve application performance.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
- Support application scalability, reliability, and security.
- Work with cloud platforms and CI/CD pipelines.
- Stay current with modern development tools and technologies.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of software development experience.
- Strong experience with Java, API, and distributed applications development using Spring boot and Microservices.
- Strong frontend development experience with React, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Understanding of AI API's like Open AI, Anthropic, Gemini etc for implementing AI use case.
- Experience with asynchronous programming and multithreading concepts.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Strong Understanding of software development best practices and Agile methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is:$68,911 to $161,544
Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws.
