Lead Financial Modeler to design and own a dynamic, driver-based forecasting model that supports how the business plans, forecasts, and makes strategic decisions. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, this role will serve as the organization's primary modeling resource, connecting originations, credit, operating expenses, securitizations, staffing, and liquidity into one integrated forecasting platform.
Key Responsibilities - Design and build a comprehensive, driver-based forecasting model that enables a single assumption change to seamlessly flow through originations, credit losses, SG&A, staffing, securitizations, liquidity, and financial performance.
- Establish and maintain the assumptions framework, forecast calendar, governance processes, and modeling standards utilized across the finance organization.
- Partner closely with FP&A leaders and business stakeholders to consolidate forecasts into one cohesive and dynamic enterprise model.
- Build and maintain forecast drivers related to loan originations, pricing, portfolio growth, operating expenses, revenue generation, and funding activities.
- Integrate credit and risk assumptions, including loss curves and reserve impacts, into forecasting models to accurately reflect earnings, cash flow, and portfolio performance.
- Develop securitization, liquidity, treasury, and balance sheet forecasting models to support capital planning and funding strategies.
- Perform scenario analysis, stress testing, and sensitivity modeling to provide leadership with actionable insights and decision support.
- Present forecasts, analyses, recommendations, and strategic insights directly to the CFO and executive leadership team.
- Support annual budgeting, long-range planning, capital planning, and strategic initiatives across the organization.
- Perform other duties as required or assigned.

Qualifications - Experience: Minimum of 8+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, structured finance, financial modeling, or related fields.
- Industry Context: Strong understanding of consumer lending economics, securitization structures, financial statements, liquidity management, and capital planning. Auto finance experience strongly preferred; consumer finance, specialty lending, or ABS experience highly valued.
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field required.
- CFA, CPA, or advanced degree preferred.
- Expert-level Excel and financial modeling skills with the ability to build complex, multi-driver forecasting models from scratch.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language required. Experience with SQL, Python, VBA, Power BI, Tableau, Anaplan, or similar analytical tools is preferred.
- Strong understanding of forecasting methodologies, scenario analysis, budgeting, liquidity forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving, and highly collaborative environment while balancing multiple priorities.
Location & Work Schedule - Location: Hybrid at our Chadds Ford, PA, Tempe, AZ, or Coppell, TX locations.
