Regional Sales Manager - Fly
Bring your fly-fishing knowledge and sales leadership to Pure Fishing. In this role, you'll drive sales for independent sales representatives across the U.S. and Canada, combining team leadership, business analysis, and dealer support to grow the business and keep the right products available.
What will you do?
• Lead & Inspire - Coach and motivate independent sales representatives, set sales expectations, and provide the reports, product information, and tools needed to achieve targets.
• Drive Sales Growth - Analyze performance by territory, account, and product to flag issues early, identify opportunities, and turn insights into sales strategies.
• Plan & Forecast - Partner with Supply Chain on accurate forecasts, inventory planning, and purchasing to support appropriate stock levels and timely product availability.
• Build Relationships - Strengthen dealer partnerships and coordinate solutions for order entry, return authorizations, sample requests, and other customer and rep needs.
• Collaborate & Activate - Work with Marketing and Product Management on launches, dealer communications, shows, and events. Represent Hardy and Greys professionally in person, in writing, and on video.

What you will need to succeed:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• At least two years of sales or related experience, including fly-fishing industry experience. Working in or managing a fly shop, or selling to fly shops, is preferred.
• Ability to lead, coach, and motivate a geographically dispersed team of independent sales representatives.
• Strong analytical skills to build and interpret reports and support forecasting, inventory planning, and purchasing decisions.
• Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, and the ability to learn SAP.
• Strong written and verbal communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities independently.
• Willingness to travel frequently, including weekends for trade shows and customer events.
