This role is part of Blue National Security (BNS), where our focus is the design, development, and delivery of launch and spacecraft systems for national security missions. Through Blue Ring, our all-in-one, high-powered hybrid solar-electric and chemical-propelled spacecraft, we provide unmatched mission maneuverability, versatility, and capacity at dramatically lower-profile costs.
The Mars Telecom Network will provide reliable, long-lived communications for missions at Mars. Delivering it takes complex, multi-system avionics and flight software that has to work autonomously, far from Earth, for years. You will work across the full life of the spacecraft, from concept and system definition through integration, verification, on-orbit checkout, and mission operations.
As a Flight Software Engineer III on the Mars Telecom Network, you'll own embedded avionics software for spacecraft subsystems, from requirements through verification, and help carry it through integration and into operations.
