Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or fire protection engineering.
• Fire Protection Professional Engineering Licensure in the United States is essential.
• Extensive experience in producing IFC design packages for federal facilities.
• In-depth knowledge of life safety codes and industry standards.
• Advanced understanding of fire alarm and suppression systems.
• Strong communication skills for presentations and documentation.
• Familiarity with various design and modeling software.

Responsibilities

• Lead design teams and mentor junior staff to create construction-ready design packages.
• Develop budgets, proposals, and schedules, along with staffing plans.
• Identify, qualify, and pursue potential clients and project opportunities.
• Conduct fire protection site surveys and collaborate with client team members.
• Ensure inter-disciplinary coordination in project execution.
• Create and oversee design for fire protection systems in various facility types.
• Travel to project sites periodically for data collection and client collaboration.
