Job Description:

Responsibilities

Core responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Lead on all internal and external audits with accurate documentation promptly
  • Preparation of management accounts, forecasts, and associated reporting into Onestream
  • Prepare month-end closing; handling accruals, prepayments, deferred Income, Fixed Assets, Foreign exchange, and Journal entries
  • Monthly ad hoc reporting to Omnicom HQ
  • Maintain Sarbanes Oxley policies & controls around GL
  • Prepare monthly revenue by client statements & conduct variance analysis with the Client Finance Lead
  • Lead on all internal and external audits with accurate documentation promptly
  • Submit monthly credit insurance reporting and Cash Flow forecasting
  • Collaborate in developing & implementing accounting policies
  • Responsibility for intercompany reportings
  • Assist in identifying trends and areas for process improvement to ensure best practices
  • Co-operate and communicate with local and regional media and finance teams
  • Develop a relationship with Omnicom HQ personnel
  • Ability to step in and cover other accounting tasks when required
  • Support the Finance Director and CFO on various work streams and ad-hoc projects
  • Be a backup to our Accounts Receivable Billing team members
  • Ability to step in and cover other accounting tasks when required


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, AICPA/CGMA, or similar preferred
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP, SOX & experience with financial reporting
  • Minimum of 3 years' relevant working experience, preferably from a media or marketing agency background
  • Strong Excel skills are a must
  • Confident yet diplomatic communicator
  • Attention to detail and technical skills are essential; a strong understanding of double-entry is a must
  • Prior exposure to Dynamics365 and Media Ocean preferred
  • Proactive with "can do" attitude, a problem solver and self-motivated, who is prepared to challenge and create new processes when needed
  • Able to multitask with minimal guidance and work under tight schedules
  • Extreme attention to detail and highly organized
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills and be tech-savvy

$75,000-$100,000

Omnicom's policy requires employees to work in the office for a minimum of three days a week, unless additional in-office days are directed by their agency or manager. Our objective is to increase this requirement over time, and many of our agencies as well as Omnicom's corporate group already require five days of in-office attendance.
