Full Job Description
Position

The Financial Planning Reporting Operations role will sit on the Investment Reporting team and support the firm's financial planning technology ecosystem. This individual will serve as the primary operational contact for eMoney, ensuring advisors have the platform support, reliable data, and tools needed to deliver financial planning services to clients. The role partners with advisors, technology teams, project managers, and vendors to maintain platform health, improve the user experience, and drive adoption. Over time, the analyst will cross-train on Solovis Risk Pro (formerly Venn by Two Sigma), the firm's portfolio analytics and risk platform, expanding their expertise across financial planning, reporting, and investment technology solutions. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and an effective communicator with a strong interest in financial technology. Success in this role requires sound judgment, a commitment to data integrity, and the ability to work independently while building strong relationships across internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary administrator and operational support partner for eMoney, including user provisioning, permissions, platform configuration, integrations, and production issue triage.
  • Act as the first point of contact for advisor questions, troubleshooting, and escalations related to eMoney functionality, plan-building, and client data setup.
  • Monitor data quality and system integrations across eMoney and connected platforms, identifying and resolving reconciliation breaks, sync failures, and other data issues.
  • Manage the relationship with eMoney support and account management teams by logging tickets, tracking resolutions, and staying current on platform releases and known issues.
  • Partner with technology, project management, vendors, and business stakeholders to evaluate enhancements, support upgrades, and improve platform capabilities.
  • Develop and deliver training, documentation, and best-practice resources to increase advisor proficiency, adoption, and self-service.
  • Produce operational reporting on platform usage, ticket activity, resolution times, and data quality exceptions, and support ad hoc analysis requests.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, reduce manual data entry, and improve the advisor and client experience.
  • Maintain standard operating procedures and ensure platform configuration and client data handling align with firm policies and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Cross-train to provide secondary support for Solovis Risk Pro, including user access, integration monitoring, issue triage, documentation, and advisor assistance.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Mathematics, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, Data Analytics, Business, or a related field; candidates with other degrees and relevant experience are welcome to apply.
  • 2-5+ years of experience in financial services, ideally in wealth management, investment operations, financial planning support, or a client-servicing technology role.
  • Direct experience supporting eMoney or a comparable financial planning platform, such as MoneyGuidePro or RightCapital, is strongly preferred.
  • Experience supporting a business application or software platform operationally, including system administration, ticketing, user provisioning, or issue tracking.
  • Familiarity with custodial platforms such as Fidelity or Schwab and CRM systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 or Salesforce.
  • Exposure to portfolio analytics or risk platforms such as Solovis, Venn, or BlackRock Aladdin is a plus; willingness to cross-train is required.
Skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, troubleshooting, and Excel skills.
  • Understanding of financial planning concepts, reporting, and data management platforms.
  • Ability to perform reconciliations, manage exceptions, and maintain data accuracy across multiple systems.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to data integrity.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated, intellectually curious, and able to manage multiple priorities in a team-oriented environment.
  • Comfort learning and supporting multiple technology platforms concurrently.
