Job Title: Associate, Investor Reporting

What the role looks like

We are seeking an Associate, Investor Reporting to join our Strategy, Planning & Analytics function. This role is based in our New York City office and reports directly to the Vice President of Strategy, Planning & Analytics.

This role serves as a key strategic partner in investor relations and financial reporting, responsible for delivering accurate, insightful, and impactful reporting to investors, ownership groups, and senior leadership.

What you will do
  • Produce, maintain, and continuously improve investor-facing reports, board materials, and financial presentations, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and alignment with investor expectations.
  • Lead preparation of quarterly board materials and ownership reports; serve as a primary point of contact for investor and ownership questions, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
  • Translate complex operational and financial data into clear, concise narratives and visuals that are accessible to both financial and non-financial audiences.
  • Collect, clean, and analyze a broad range of internal and external financial and operational data - including macroeconomic indicators and market comparables - to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Benchmark portfolio performance against external market data and industry comparables to provide context for ownership and investor decision-making.
  • Build and maintain complex financial models and forecasts; take ownership of data integrity across reporting tools and systems (e.g., Excel, PowerBI, MRI, Yardi).
  • Proactively identify opportunities to streamline, automate, and improve reporting processes and products to increase efficiency and accuracy.
  • Manage the investor reporting calendar, ensuring all deliverables are completed on schedule and meet quality standards ahead of distribution.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams including Operations, Accounting, etc. to gather data, validate assumptions, and support reporting and analytical activities.

Your skills and experience
  • Bachelor's degree (preferably in finance, economics, accounting, engineering).
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong understanding of financial / data management.

  • Excellent writing / communication skills; ability to influence and communicate with various stakeholders.
  • Ability to produce top quality deliverables, prioritizing under tight deadlines.
  • Drive for continuous improvement and ability to change; a desire to grow and take on ever increasing responsibility.
  • Strong Excel, modeling skills required; data visualization / programming skills a plus.


What we offer:

Base Salary: $120,000 - $130,000

Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience & location.
