Job Description

You will be the Financial Management Sr, joining the Solid Rocket Motor (SRM) Product Center team to drive financial performance and support the development of new SRM technologies. Our team is responsible for integrating financial data, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance across multiple finance functions. Will include some or all of the responsibilities as defined. Performs financial analysis, establishes performance management budgeting, and forecasting activities to include variance analysis, trend identification, workforce planning drivers, risk and opportunities assessment and development of mitigation plans. Integrates information from multiple financial systems, processes and functions in order to consolidate the data forensics into actionable business solution recommendations. Develops and utilizes forward-looking data analytics, visualization and trend analysis to inform financial strategy and decision making. Develops and provides actionable recommendations to key stakeholders to make sound financial and operating decisions.

What You Will Be Doing
As the Financial Management Sr you will be responsible for leading financial analysis, performance management, and delivering actionable business recommendations to program managers, IPT leads, and senior leadership. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
  • Developing and managing budgets for development and qualification efforts for new SRMs and SRM technologies within the Product Center
  • Perform variance analysis, trend identification, and risk-opportunity assessments to develop mitigation plans.
  • Consolidating financials across Business Areas to provide a comprehensive view of financial performance
  • Develop forward-looking data analytics, visualizations, and forecasting models to guide strategy.
  • Provide subject-matter expertise for proposal development, cost estimating, and negotiations.
  • Managing and tracking Earned Value Management (EVM) implementation and tailored program performance

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $72500.00 - $134600.00

  • Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs may be offered depending on the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics.
  • For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
