The Commercial Project Manager (CPM) is an integral part of the Finance team for the Gas Services Central business organization. The Commercial Project Manager is working together with the Project Manager to implement and execute large Power Plant Projects typically ranging from $100 million to $500 million.
How You'll Make an Impact
Work in collaboration with Project manager to ensure accurate project costs and pricing according to defined guidelines.
Establish and maintain the financial framework for projects based on contractual agreements during the ongoing execution phase.
Responsible for project financials including monthly revenue recognition in compliance with defined guidelines and cash flow/payment plan and ensure timely generation of customer invoices.
Full responsibility for all finance-related Project topics, including but not limited to handling Accounting, Legal, Tax, Foreign Exchange, and NCM
Perform financial planning, assess risk and opportunities for financial impact while mitigating risk and optimizing profit margins.
Prepare project review package and present on quarterly basis to executive management.
Ensure achievement of contract requirements (e.g. performance guarantees, insurance, taxes, etc.); Face to the Customer and direct Customer interaction for Contractual topics or change order negotiations.
Special assignments and interaction with external auditors for audit topics as required.
