Standard Job Description

Performs one or more multiple financial activities within various finance job functions (FP&A, Overhead, Program Finance, Accounting, Controller, etc.). Will include some or all of the responsibilities as defined. Performs financial analysis, establishes performance management budgeting, and forecasting activities to include variance analysis, trend identification, workforce planning drivers, risk and opportunities assessment and development of mitigation plans. Integrates information from multiple financial systems, processes and functions in order to consolidate the data forensics into actionable business solution recommendations. Timely and accurately consolidates financial results (Orders, Sales, EBIT, Cash, ROIC, Overhead, Discretionary Funding) and monthly, quarterly and year end reporting to internal and external customers to include government contractual cost and schedule earned value management reporting. Develops and utilizes forward-looking data analytics, visualization and trend analysis to inform financial strategy and decision making. Develops and provides actionable recommendations to key stakeholders to make sound financial and operating decisions. Maintains applicable internal and external (FAR, CAS, SEC, US GAAP) policy, procedure, and controls for compliance to support internal process and external regulatory requirements. Provides subject matter expertise support to proposal development, basis of estimate and negotiations, as required.

This position will be responsible for the day-to-day execution of ADP Program Finance and CDRL reporting activities providing Earned Value Management (EVMS) support to IPTs, Control Account Managers (CAMs), Business Managers, and Program Managers across the ISR portfolio within ADP. Candidate will support CDLR reports such as IPMRs, CFSRs, and CSDRs with analysis of monthly performance and providing data required to produce each report. This position supports a multitude of program finance functions; including the ability to act independently in establishing / managing Performance Measurement Baselines, analysis and reconciliation of actual costs, development of Estimate at Complete (EAC), and conducting Earned Value analysis. Candidate will coordinate the monthly business rhythm with Program Planning and Scheduling and Financial Analysts to ensure all aspects of program EVMS performance are captured in the required timeframe to support reviews and reporting requirements. Candidate will coordinate with Business Managers to ensure contractual changes are incorporated and reflected in the EV data. The candidate will also assist with the development and documentation of corrective action plans as well as preparing and presenting analysis to various levels of leadership.

*Working locations will be Fort Worth TX or Palmdale CA

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with 8 years of accounting/finance experience combined with minimum 4 years of experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS) concepts and their application.

Experience with Microsoft Office Suite Products with emphasis on Excel and basic SQL.

Experience with cost systems similar to Deltek Cobra, Tableau, and Empower

Ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance. Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. This will be Full-Time onsite

Desired Skills

Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business.

Familiarity with Systems, Applications, Products Software (SAP).

Familiarity with Hyperion/Accounting Data Analysis and Reporting (ADAR).

Experience in developing program budgets and Estimates at Completion.

Data analysis through use of self-developed queries.

Familiarity with cost systems similar to Deltek Cobra.

High degree of interpersonal skills required in interfacing with Senior Leadership, Control Account Managers, Program Management leads, and other Program Finance personnel across multiple sites.

Experience in taking raw data and presenting it in written/oral form for concise management reports.

Experience with formal CPR/IPMR Reporting.

Ability to lead and mentor less senior analysts.

Experience in playing a key role within a diverse team made of many different disciplines.

DoD Secret clearance.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $72500.00 - $134600.00

  • Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs may be offered depending on the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics.
  • For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
